Marine Biologist
These are video projects I created while working on assignment helping to preserve and protect wildlife and their conservation efforts.
Farallon Islands
Point Blue Conservation Science, along with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, has been monitoring the wildlife on the Farallones for the past 50 years. Studying which species come to visit, which come to feeding grounds off shore, and which come to reproduce on these islands 30 miles off shore from San Francisco. Important studies like these are essential if we want to understand our world and how the environment is changing.
Kido Foundation Mini Series
The Island Earth series covers the struggles and efforts of the Kido Foundation to protect / preserve their sea turtle populations on the island of Carriacou, Grenada. This is just one aspect of the work carried out by the KIDO Foundation to achieve a better future for all living things.
Guafo Island Research Group
Guafo Island is one of nature's pristine learning / living laboratory. A small and remote island that houses a dedicated team of researchers a few months out of the year. They hope to be able to understand the effects / devastation hookworms have on the South American Fur Seal population before irreparable damage occurs.
Riverhead Foundation
for Marine Research and Preservation
The Riverhead Foundation is New York's only marine mammal and sea turtle rehabilitation center. They preserve, rescue, rehabilitate and release injured wildlife. They also educate the general public about the aquatic wildlife life that exist around New York's waterways.
Kido Foundation presents
"The Tale of Two Islands"
The "Tale of Two Islands" is an original play created by the Kido Foundation, with a cast of local children and volunteers to deliver an important environmental message. Puppet story telling has always been an educational tool of Kido, to warn of man made environmental destruction. Their goal is to teach the children and save a planet.
